Steph didn’t even get a full day in London after the dive trip before she jetted off to Zurich again.
Monday evening I went to choir at St. Martins on the Fields in the crypts. I like this location most, both for the ambiance and the acoustics. It was a longer set in preparation for the Liverpool choir trip that I wasn’t going on, but I stayed for the extra run throughs anyway. I also decided to show up to the Tuesday rehearsal, and it was good as we did the songs for the upcoming Halloween performance that I will be a part of.
Wednesday I had Zaheer over and we played some more of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. We took over Whitehall and made our way to Covent Garden. They had a decently accurate Covent Garden and St. Paul’s Church. I then headed to dive club and gave the Skapa Flow report, although there were only 7 people so it wasn’t a full meeting.
Thursday and Friday I volunteered to help teach people how to build with AI, and it was a lot of fun. I think there is a lot of need for this and I’d love to do more of it. For Friday we made it over the the ‘AI Campus’ that is sponsored by Google. It is only really targeted at school kids, so it isn’t something I’m especially excited to start helping with.
On Saturday, Steph and I went to the screening of the last two episodes of Jet Lag: The Game for their Japanorama series. It was interesting and nice to go out with Steph, but definitely not worth doing again. That evening I went to a fun games bar in Battersea for Dean’s Birthday. We had a putting race and then a model car race, which I ended up crushing in both. It was a ton of fun, but a long way for me to go so I didn’t have long to stay.
